James Woodcox, MSW, LICSW-S, joined Magellan in 2022 as a Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) at Fort Novosel, Alabama. In his role as an embedded MFLC, James offers counseling services to servicemembers and their families and supports command through consultation and referrals. He earned his Master of Social Work degree with a focus on children and families from the University of Alabama and holds a bachelor's in business administration. James has a diverse background in community mental health, substance abuse treatment, and child protective services. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and cooking.
