Kristen Ford, MPH, serves as the vice president of product development for Magellan Healthcare. She has more than 24 years of experience within the behavioral health managed care industry including 11 years with Magellan. Kristen leads innovation and product development activities for Magellan’s behavioral health markets.  She oversees the identification, development, and production of new services for behavioral health populations including employer, payer, and public markets.  Kristen has held several leadership roles within behavioral health managed care including operations, quality improvement, and six sigma process management and design. Kristen holds a master’s degree in Public Health, a bachelor’s degree in social work and is passionate about empowering people to achieve their best health. Prior to working in the managed care industry, Kristen worked with local community public health departments doing health education and community outreach. Kristen started her career as a community-based case manager for the Department of Human Services.
